A wheel hub, also known as a wheel rim, is a cylindrical component mounted on the center of an axle that supports the inner contour of a tire. Common types of automotive wheels include steel wheels and aluminum alloy wheels. Steel wheels are highly durable and are often used on large heavy-duty trucks; however, they are heavy and have a plain appearance, which does not align with today’s low-carbon and fashion-conscious ideals, so they are gradually being replaced by aluminum alloy wheels.
